Coach Alico Dunk brings a lifetime of basketball experience to Team Dunk—from playing the game professionally to coaching, mentoring and developing the next generation of young athletes.
After his professional playing career, Coach Dunk transitioned into coaching, where his passion for the game became a passion for teaching. His approach goes beyond basketball fundamentals, using the sport to instill discipline, teamwork, confidence, perseverance and leadership—skills young people can carry far beyond the court.
In 2025, Coach Dunk was named HBCU Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, recognizing his leadership, coaching excellence and commitment to developing winning teams and winning mindsets.
